Collection: Coreopsis

Coreopsis, also known as tickseed or calliopsis, belongs to the Asteraceae family and is primarily native to North America, with some species found in South America. These plants can be annual or perennial (we sell only perennials), typically reaching heights of 1 to 3 feet with slender, upright stems. Their leaves are generally opposite and may be simple or lobed.

The flowers resemble daisies, displaying vibrant yellow, orange, pink, or red ray florets encircling a central disk of yellow or brownish florets. Blooming spans from late spring through fall, with peak flowering in summer.

Coreopsis thrives in full sun, preferring well-drained, moderately fertile soil. They are drought-tolerant once established, low-maintenance, and adaptable to various soil types, including sandy or poor soils. USDA Hardiness Zones range from 3–9, depending on the species.
