Hosta King was founded by Mark Piraino, CEO, 10 years ago.  Our goal is simple: sell high quality plants online.  People appreciate the health and strength of the plants we grow.  That appreciation is reflected in our outstanding customer reviews, over 98% of our reviews have a 5 star rating. 

Mark, developed his passion for horticulture 40 years ago helping his grandfather tend his large vegetable and flower gardens in Norwich, NY. Many summer days were spent picking beans, tomatoes, zucchini, fresh herbs and flowers and braiding garlic.

As a bonus, his Aunt Grace, who lived across the street, taught him how to cook and bake with the bountiful harvest.

Today, Hosta King is a New York State-Certified Nursery grower located in Upstate New York, Baldwinsville.  We specialize in Sun and Shade perennials. Offering over 50 varieties of Hostas.

Hosta King is proud to be a family owned & operated business.  Right here in the beautiful United States.  The people who work here, they all have a strong passion for plants.   You cannot fake love and it shows in our happy & hearty plants.  

Customer's being happy is the #1 goal at HostaKing.  If you are not happy with your plants, Hosta King will make it right.  We can either ship you replacement plants or refund your money.   You can have the same plants or have different plants, of equal or lesser value, shipped to you.   If you feel a full money refund is necessary, we are happy to honor that request too.   Let us know why you are not happy and we will make it right.
