Common Name: Bugleweed, Carpet Bugleweed
Rosettes of glossy rippled foliage turn nearly black in the sun, while fragrant dark violet flowers appear in late spring and early summer.
Spreading ground cover creates a tight mat of rich, chocolate brown foliage with dark green undertones. Flowers rise above the foliage in the spring. May repeat bloom in milder climates.
An excellent container and accent plant, it’s evergreen in mild climates and adapts to a wide variety of soil and water conditions. Also great around shrubs or between stepping stones. An herbaceous perennial.
Ajuga reptans is the most widely grown species, commonly called “bugleweed”.

Send us a request from our Chat bubble. Include your Order Number and Tell Us Why you are not satisfied and would like a refund. We require returns for refunds covering 6 or more plants so that we can review the plants and report back to our growers important issues. Unfortunately, we do not pay for return shipping.
