Collection: Monarda

Monarda, commonly known as bee balm, bergamot, or horsemint, is a genus of flowering plants in the mint family, Lamiaceae, native to North America. Monarda are herbaceous perennials (some annuals) with aromatic leaves and vibrant, tubular flowers in shades of red, pink, purple, or white. They typically grow 2–4 feet tall, with square stems typical of the mint family. Flowers are clustered in dense, spherical heads, attracting pollinators like bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds.
