Collection: Allium
Allium is a genus of flowering plants in the Amaryllidaceae family, commonly known as the onion family. It includes over 850 species, such as onions, garlic, leeks, chives, shallots, and many ornamental plants. We sell the ornamentals, of course.
Allium plants are typically characterized by their bulbous roots, long, hollow leaves, and umbrella-like flower clusters. Some species Allium giganteum, are grown for their huge, striking, spherical flower heads in gardens. (We often carry that one, btw.)
