Shipped Trimmed and Ready to Plant. We sell starter plants, carefully trimmed and prepared for planting upon arrival. They are shipped as bare root, bulbs or plugs, not in containers. Plants depicted in pictures are at maturity.
Blue Music is a popular hardneck garlic variety in the Porcelain subgroup (Allium sativum var. ophioscorodon). It's prized by growers and chefs for its robust flavor, large cloves, and excellent storage life.
Extra large, uniform bulbs. White to cream skin with light purple accents. Tan / cream clove color.
Clove count: Typically 4–6 large, easy-to-peel cloves per bulb.
Flavor: Hot and spicy when raw, mellows to a rich, musky garlic taste when cooked.
Scape: Produces tall, curly scapes in early summer (great for pesto).
Skin: White papery outer wrappers with subtle purple/bluish streaks (hence the "blue" in the name).
Storage: One of the best-keeping hardnecks—often lasts 6–9 months in cool, dry conditions.
Growth: Cold-hardy, performs well in northern climates (zones 3–8). Bulbs can reach 2–3 inches in diameter under good conditions.

Returns & Exchanges
Send us a request from our Chat bubble. Include your Order Number and Tell Us Why you are not satisfied and would like a refund. We require returns for refunds covering 6 or more plants so that we can review the plants and report back to our growers important issues. Unfortunately, we do not pay for return shipping.
