Collection: Heliopsis

Heliopsis is a cheerful native North American perennial plant widely known by common names like false sunflower, oxeye sunflower, smooth oxeye, early sunflower, or simply heliopsis. It's a.clump-forming perennial that grows 3–6 feet tall (sometimes shorter in cultivars) and spreads 2–4 feet wide. It looks a lot like a smaller, more garden-friendly version of a sunflower, but with key differences—its ray flowers (the "petals") don't drop off as they age like true sunflowers do, and both the disk and ray flowers can produce seeds. Summer bloomer and a great cutting plant.
