Collection: Eucomis

Eucomis (common name pineapple lilies or pineapple flowers) are bulbous perennials  related to hyacinths and other bulb plants. They produce basal rosettes of long, strap-shaped, often wavy or spotted leaves. In summer, they send up sturdy stems topped with dense, cylindrical clusters (racemes) of small, star-shaped flowers, crowned by a tuft of leafy green bracts that give the whole bloom a striking resemblance to a pineapple. They mostly thrive in full sun to partial shade with well-drained soil.
