Collection: Hibiscus

Hibiscus is a genus of flowering plants in the mallow family (Malvaceae), including  hundreds of species, both shrubs and small trees, known for their large, vibrant, trumpet-shaped flowers. We sell Rose Mallow varieties which are cold-hardy enough for temperate climates. These have enormous blooms, often 6–10 inches, and typically grow 3-8 feet. They are good in zones 4–9 and flower best in full sun. Plant them in rich, moist soil and water them, regularly. Cut back stems in late winter and fertilize for spring.
