Ligularia is a dramatic, large-leaved perennial for moist, partly shaded gardens. It's a companion to hostas and astilbe, but with bolder foliage and tall yellow flowers later in the season. Prefers morning sun and partial shade, and consistently moist soil. It's not well suited for dry conditions. Makes for a great focal point.
