Common Name: Japanese Anemone

Elegant looking white bicolor flowers are semi-double, with pretty ruffled edges. Back sides are tinted lavender, giving a pale pink effect from the front. Blooms atop dark stems completely cover a clump of leathery, olive green foliage. Though delicate in appearance plants are quite tough and vigorous.

With a long blooming season, the plant flowers heavily in a flurry of bright white poppylike flowers with a yellow "button" of stamens in late summer into early autumn, attracting butterflies.

Prefers full sun to dappled shade and fertile, humus rich, consistently moist, well-drained soil but grows well in average garden soil with medium moisture.

Shown to best effect when mass planted, it is perfect for urban gardens, borders, and containers. It is deer and rabbit resistant and salt tolerant.

Returns & Exchanges

Send us a request from our Chat bubble. Include your Order Number and Tell Us Why you are not satisfied and would like a refund. We require returns for refunds covering 6 or more plants so that we can review the plants and report back to our growers important issues. Unfortunately, we do not pay for return shipping.
